What to do with bent shocks? Empty Bent Shock

Depends on where it's bent and how much. Also that it hasn't damaged the end seal/bushing. I have straightened quite a few shocks and some that I thought sure were "goners." Get me a picture or get it in my hands and I'll see what I can do.

What to do with bent shocks? Empty What to do with bent shocks?

Anyone know what I can do with a bent shock? I emailed Afco but they wanted about as much as a new one to rebuild it. It really does not look that bad. I dont see any damage other than it wont move in and out. Is there a simple way to take them apart and inspect them for damage? Is there reason they freeze up? This shock was one that was involved in me getting upside down.

Thanks, Mark
