How to tell when Methanol is bad?

I have a dealer that is close to me that is selling 55gallon drum of methanol but he said they have been stored on a concrete floor. I always thought methanol can draw up moisture through the concrete. Is there a simple way to tell if methanol is good or bad? I thought if it has moisture it will turn milky?
