Well??????
Did the motor come in? Is it mounted in the car yet? Is the Jack93 gonna show at Valley? So many questions.....so few answers.

Re: Well??????
Yep JACK93 will be at G.V. tomorrow night. I just got done breaking in the motor. If the motor is 1/2 as fast as it sounds we should be fast . Just hope mother nature does not have other plans.
Anyone want to go to Spoon River and run IMSA Sat. Night?
See you tomorrow.

If we dont have to thrash on crap in between the heat and feature I am going to have the wife throw out some t-shirts to the fans in the stands.

Re: Well??????
Well..... here is how my day went. I took off 1/2 day of work so I could get everthing ready. We took off from our house about 4:30 and were about 45min from the track and blew the right tire on the trailer. Which ripped off the wheel well. Change that tire in record time about 12min. That was with hooking up the generator to get power to my air compressor to air up my semi flat spare tire. OK shit happens and we are off again. Now we are three miles on the west side of hwy 13 and guess what?? Yep the left side tire blew and ripped the wheel well off of that side. I had no more spares so I pulled that tires off and had 3 on the trailer now. What gets me is the tires were not bad. They should have lasted me the rest of the year with no problem. So after all that we limped back to Higginsville Walmart on 3 tires were I had to get the store managere to hold the tire department 1min over there scheduled time off to get my tires changed. Walmart got the job done but what a PITA!! Not sure I will shop at wally world anymore. So after all that I mite have been able to make the feature but seeing were I sand in the points and that IMSA is running at Spoon River tonight I thought it best just to go back home and try again today. If it was not for bad luck this year I would have no luck at all!
This is why I hate racing on Friday nights. If it would have been a Sat. we would have made it.
How was the turn out? How did you do?
Any chance you guys are going to Spoon River? You could do S.River tonight and then OMMS tomorrow in Calf.

Re: Well??????
We had 11 cars total. Got lucky and pulled a win. Bobby Layne was 2nd, Zach Morehead 3rd, Matt Gilbert 4th and Richard Layne 5th. Parker was the car to beat but he had an electrical problem. The car quit running on him. Spoon River sounds fun but we have a family reunion today, otherwise I might have thought about going. After the last triple race weekend, I don't know if I want to do that again. Wore my butt out. That's to bad that you had so much trouble trying to get there last night. On the flip side, that means it all should fall in place tonight. Got all the bad luck done in one night. You got your old motor back in the car? Or did you put the new bullet in? By the way, what is the new bullet? Good luck tonight.

Re: Well??????
Congrates on the run, I think Dave and his new motor / car have G.V.'s #. He mite be tuff to beat the rest of the year there if he can keep it running.
Old Fresh GSXR is back in the car. New motor is a 07, ZX10R. I plan on running it on alky so I still need to piece all of that together.
Spoon River is a fun track. It sits on top of a hill and then they dug a big 3/8 mile bowl. I am not sure what the banking is but it is more than I have ever ran on. IMSA had 15 cars. We got 2nd in the heat and the car felt great. Then all the moisure left the track in a big way. In the feature we went BACK, BACK, BACK. I blew the set up big time. But the motor ran good and I rolled the car back in the trailer to do battle again next weekend. I still have a long way to go on learning car set up.
I think we all need to get together and make a pull to either Spoon River or Jacksonville before the years is out to run with the IMSA guys as a group.
I also had a chance to talk to Roger from IMSA more about a state championship race. We think it is very doable for next year. We will try and work with in everyone schedule to make it benefit all clubs. We hope to get some the Wisconsin guys to come down and run. We talked about doing it the end of this season but I think it is to late in the year.
